It was a wonderful base and the shared facilities- bathrooms and kitchen, was perfect with little extras like snacks and hot drinks to help yourself to. "The property was in pleasant grounds, in an attractive village. There are a number of b and b rooms in the barn which is now an annex to the main house. The room had a high ceiling so was airy and spacious. The ensuite shower room was too. The bed could be a double or two singles so was large size and we found to be comfortable. "There was more to it than you first see….Doug the owner was pleasant guy explained everything to me carried my case up to my room. Great freshly cooked breakfast you didn’t leave hungry in a morning! Nice big lounge comfortable and in here as well as the TV was a kettle microwave cutlery condiments glasses fridge for customers use! Also another glass fronted fridge with assorted chilled drinks and an honesty box, so if you wanted you could buy a take away and warm it up and take to your room...
