"Friendly staff and spacious rooms, there is a great attention to detail with all the services we used. We didn’t use the restaurant but the bar staff were very high on service and make beautiful cocktails. There is a lovely bar on the top floor with views over the marina. Nice big comfortable bed in our room. The bathrooms are smart, the only criticism is that the temperature of the shower was a bit erratic. It’s nice that there is a safe and a kettle with tea and coffee also adequate plug sockets and access to WiFi. I would stay again if I can get a discounted rate. The car park was a bit pricey at £32 for 2 nights although it was very handy."

"We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Queen In The West in Lincoln and honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, Jo, the landlady, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble, and she genuinely cared that we had the best stay possible. Her hospitality alone is enough to make us want to come back. The room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and everything was exactly as it should be. It was the perfect place to relax after spending the day exploring Lincoln. One of the things we loved most was the atmosphere. The locals were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home straight away. It's the sort of pub where you can easily settle in for a drink and a chat. The location is ideal too, it's only a short walk into Lincoln city centre, but far enough away that you're not right in the middle of all the noise and crowds. There are also takeaways and a local convenience shop just a couple of minutes away, which was really handy. We've enjoyed our stay so much that we've already booked to come back, and that says it all. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Queen In The West to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, welcoming place to stay in Lincoln. Thank you, Jo, we'll see you again soon!"

"Very comfortable and clean room. Love the claw foot bath tub and the cookies were delicious! A bit hot in the room as there is no AC and the fan has to work overtime. Very close to the cathedral and town center. Breakfast was delicious with good variety."

"The room was clean, staff were very helpful and moved us room quickly when one of the beds wasn’t right. Nice breakfast plenty of choice. We managed to get parked in car park with no problems. Great location."

"We had a pleasant stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short visit. Pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade with views of the Cathedral on the 3rd floor. The breakfast was good, with a nice selection to start the day, and the overall experience. Parking was easy and plenty onsite. Just for future reference, when travelling in the summer months, for foreign travellers, there is no air-conditioning. You will be provided with a fan. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, this is a solid choice."

"Great place at a great price. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and the hotel has recently been refurbished. At first its location might seem a little removed from the obvious attractions, Cathedral, Castle etc. However a steady walk through the retail area and up the hill is fine. We are in our 70s and managed it in 30 minutes."
