"We used the breakfast bar and the restaurant the first day. Both were convenient to have, but easy to replace once we explored our nearby options. The Metro was close and we used the shuttle. However leave yourself plenty of time as the shuttle can get backed up during busy hours. We would definitely use the Melia again."

"Wonderful seaside hotel. Nice rooms, restaurant and beautiful sea views. Pool on the roof with lounges and umbrellas and a bar right there. We would stay there again."

"Spa was not a spa, a tired swimming pool no access to any other facilities without paying more. How on earth this has won awards us beyond me.
Lifts were horrific- card system meant waiting up to 20 minutes to simply go downstairs.
Breakfast was great and most of the staff were friendly and helpful, some very poor greetings at breakfast by female employees who could not be bothered and challenged me on my room number ‘ stating I must be wrong’. Turned out she had mistyped- no apology just a...

"Breakfast was bad. Eggs were old, mushrooms were cold, sausage had bones in it, I tried to order fried eggs and was told by a very rude waitress they could not make fried eggs. It was almost like we were an inconvenience to the restaurant staff.
Front desk enployees were above and beyond hospitable. They are the amazing grace of the hotel!"
