"We had a really enjoyable stay at the Bushel and it was in a great location, very near to the town centre. Obviously an old building but Green King have done the perfect renovations and updates on the rooms, it was very comfortable. Our room was light and airy, the ensuite bathroom left me with bathroom envy with its full size shower cubicle. Liquid soap and shower gels provided and the bath towels were massive and fluffy. "We stayed for just one night and had no complaints whatsoever. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and we left feeling well-rested. Bed was comfortable. I would recommend it. Although we had a shared bathroom, it was spotless, well-maintained, and perfectly functional—so it didn’t affect our stay at all. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic beer garden, overall great. "

"Great quirky pub, restaurant and hotel. Ideal for us on our way to Norwich. Have stayed before, so was looking forward to going back. Delicious food, lovely, comfy beds in fun 'cow' themed rooms. "We stayed for an event at UEA and the location was perfect for this. Setting was beautiful in a small village with a river running through -great for an evening stroll. Our bedroom was very very close to the road which becomes a commuter cut through in the mornings. This did lead to some unwelcome traffic noise from around 530am. "
