"The hotel is near the river. We got upgraded to a river view room which is very lovely. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was big, clean and quiet. We wish we had time to stay another night and enjoyed the view. The lobby has some games. My kid enjoyed the chess board very much. One staff was nice enough to entertain him a few games off duty. Would definitely choose the hotel again next time we are in the area. "

"Seabird is at the southend of Ft. Bragg on Hwy 1 (PCH). The property is older maybe built in the 70's or 80's. It is well maintained. Checkin was very good and the reception staff kind of worked off a script. Every checkin is the same. We booked a room with a king size bed and a balcony with a view of the ocean, although maybe a quarter mile away. "We left our food in the take out bag it came in, picked up but not to fill the trash. Some of the food did end up in the trash. Both the trash can and bag of food, as well as the chair and table were completely covered in ants! Kind of a bummer to wake up to at 5:30am!"

"Tgis was false advertising. I paid to stay at the actual hotel and they put me in a conpletely different property. Sort of ruined my birthday. If you see pictures of a beautiful wooden hotel overlooking the ocean and think that worth the extra money do not fall for it. They put me in sone generic building far away painted white just basic like motel 6. I deserve a full refund honestly. "

"It was a mother/daughter working weekend. Perfect location. We were at the JD House, queen guesthouse with a fireplace and were able to park right in front. We missed the wine and cheese which was disappointing, we’ll look forward to it next time. I We usually visit once a year so we will definitely be back. Thank you for the lovely stay. "
