"The entire staff was fantastic and very attentive to me. The property itself is lovely and the courtyard has a welcoming vibe. The pool area was lovely and hot. "Place was clean, cozy and cleaning staff was amazing. Only issue there wasn’t anyone at the front desk ever, not a good look in case of an emergency. "Well when we arrived we contacted a number in the front gate as there was no one to great us . The number was of the previous owner and all he could do was send me a link to his new place . Let’s go to the issues , safe didn’t work , toilet seat broken , free parking as stated was street parking …. Well say that then ! The pool , no access as when we booked the suite that had pool access only was booked so it wasn’t clear .

"The scuba lodge is a true gem. It’s well maintained and the rooms were huge and stocked like a B&B. The property is small but the space is utilized perfectly. The restaurant, bar, pool and swimming hole is wonderful!! The staff are great as well.
This area seems quite up and coming so everything is relatively near. You do need to walk or taxi to most things so i recommend renting a car if you plan to leave the resort.

The standard "city view" room was a half basement with a small window looking at eye level onto the floor of a narrow alley - not the airy room shown in the photos. "I booked an Ocean View Junior Suite, but unfortunately was never placed in that room due to a pipe burst prior to my arrival. Instead, I was moved to a two-bedroom room with additional space that I did not need.
The room I was placed in also had no hot water and drainage issues, which made the stay frustrating. During the trip, I was then asked to move rooms again to accommodate another reservation, which added to the inconvenience.

"The room was generally clean although a bit dated. The staff were friendly and mainly multilingual which impressed me. This hotel is located in the middle of everything you need so the location is ideal. Check in and out was a breeze. The one thing I didn’t like was that they asked us to not take off the AC.
