"The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful and the location is very walkable to plenty of delicious restaurants and cafés. I highly recommend an ocean view room!
My only complaint is how the pool is set up. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that you have to pay extra to lay by the pool. The included loungers are off on the Peninsula, which was OK but not ideal, however, there was no service from the restaurant in that area until somebody complained. They definitely cater to the people who pay to lay...

"Such a fantastic stay. Room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is on a lively street. It can get loud at night (Thursday-Saturday) but adds to the charm of Pietermaai. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby and easy to walk to Punda and Otrabanda. Enjoyed having the pool to cool down after long days in the heat."

"We had a wonderful stay at Bijblauw. The sea view was beautiful and the decor was lovely. The building has lots of character to it. The staff were lovely and really helpful when we had issues and sorted them very quickly. Lotte was particularly great. They made our stay extra special for our honeymoon. The restaurant food was delicious. We had breakfast daily and ate lunch and dinner once there. The sunset whilst eating was beautiful. It was a great location to walk to local food and drink...

"The property was clean and instructions for check-in and check-out were very clear. The 3 bed and 3 bath is actually a 2.5 bath which I wish was made clear. The location of the apartment is great and is located in one of the picturesque buildings when you search Punda. "Had trouble reaching them because they wouldn’t answer, not even the emergency number. The AC wasn’t working so they let us stay in another apartment but we had to move from, so in total we moved 3x. plus one of the apartments didn’t have an elevator so we had to carry our stuff up. "

"We stayed here for 6 nights recently, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The main attractions, in our opinion, are the water access, immaculate grounds and excellent location a short walk from downtown Willemstad (10 min walk).

The apartment is very well located and spacious.
Unfortunately the walk hall was very dark no lights on first floor cable still sticking out of the wall, unfinished. It would be nice the apt door has a handle, easier to close the door from inside.
