"Loved my stay. Everyone who works there are super nice and friendly. The hotel and grounds are absolutely beautiful and serene. It's an adult vibe of pure relaxation and I hope it stays that way. Everything was clean as well. I always felt comfortable and it's walking distance (get your walking shoes ready) to punda and otrabanda. The food and drinks at the hotel (lemon beach) was also fantastic! There is no tv or room service but there is an iPad if needed. The only thing I would have liked would have been having the pool area open longer hours vs 6 pm but that isn't a deal breaker. The view they have there is so nice of the ocean and I was telling my partner let's elope here however they don't do weddings yet but hope I'll be the first to know when they do since it's a fairly new hotel. "Avila Hotel was clean and had parking. The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and comfortable bed. My favorite was the history of the hotel. It’s a living museum. The private beach is top tier. "

"This was my first time traveling to Curacao, and the Sunscape was awesome. All of the dining options were great except the buffet. The nightclub was closed while we were there which was a bummer. More active night activities would make the resort better. The location was amazing, but the hotel could use some upgrades. We had no hot water in our room the whole trip. Complained to the front desk for 3 days straight, and nothing was done. Other than that. The stay was great."
