"Pros: Entertainment 10 out of 10. Excellent nightly entertainment. Friendly entertainment staff. Beach 10 out of 10. Great. Clean beach with snorkeling right of the beach. No boat traffic, very tranquil. Drinks were excellent. Bar staff were amazing. Will make you anything you want. Cons: House keeping was not very good. We had to hunt them down to clean our room. After placing multiple calls to front desk noone showed up for 3 days. Food was just OK. Not a lot of selection in the evenings....

"I traveled here with my family for Mother’s Day. We enjoyed the cleanliness and breakfast. My 4 year old son enjoyed the pool so much, it was a struggle to get him out lol. Would definitely return and recommend."

"The Kontiki beach resort was so amazing! All the shops and restaurants are 5 minutes away from your room. The food was 10/10. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I stayed on the luxury side and the rooms were so clean! Every day they gave you complementary waters in your room. I would just recommend renting a car to get around to the town and other areas of the island. Taxi and drivers can get very expensive! But whenever I did need a driver the front desk helped call me one. Beautiful...

"I loved everything about the hotel!! They were so accommodating and the location was in a very convenient location for solo travelers. Close to everything, so there was no problem getting to anything in downtown curaçao. It has all the accommodations even though it wasn’t all inclusive. From the staff to the beauty of the property and convenience. It was top notch for me and I’m an avid traveler."

"the hotel was well maintained and clean. their beach and pool are all nice and rooms are great. my main issue with the hotel is that it is all inclusive but booking their themed restaurants are almost close to impossible. stayed for 5 nights and couldnt get any reservation at all on all their reataurants. we are always ending up going to the buffet only. I wish they have a better setup to allow guests to book their themed restaurants."

"Nice property and staff. Housekeeping was on it. Food on resort was a bit costly and bland on certain items, but not too terrible. And the $10 usd M&Ms in the gift shop. :-) Entertainment was off a bit, however, Guitarist on Monday and Sax player on Tuesday nights were both excellent! Overall, it was a good visit."

"Room was decent & clean but property overall was very underwhelming overall, access to the sister properties makes up for it a little bit & some of the staff aren’t so accommodating. Food options were not good"

"The property is beautifully manicured and well kept. Our interactions with the staff were all positive and friendly. The beach and palapas are maintained nightly. Our room, shower and bathroom were all clean. Would definitely stay again."

"So when we arrived our room wasn’t ready. Then we had to wait a hour and a half for another room. Then our new room had no air conditioning. We had to use a fan for 5 days. And another thing we was given a room with two queen size beds instead of a king size! The food at the buffet was horrible. However Blue Water grill was very good and the staff was pleasant. The ocean had lots of rocks so make sure you get water shoes. The staff at the bars was nice but some was not to friendly. Thanks"

"Best hotel on the island from the ones I saw during my stay. Big with two beautiful sand beaches and a great infinity pool. Greatest perk was how Avila is walking distance to the main town and amazing restaurants. Loved our room it had a great balcony with a view, super clean, and a beautiful bathroom. We stayed during the Curacao World Cup matches and the atmosphere at the hotel was lively and fun at night and quiet and relaxing during the day. Can’t wait to go back one day!"

"The room had no robe, no refrigerator, no bottled water, no kettle, no bathtub. but it did have a chiller and coffee maker (which stopped working). The sheets were not changed daily. but towels were."
