I really wanted to love this hotel but unfortunately, I would not stay here again.
The hotel is outdated and does not appear like the pictures. There was a sewage smell coming from the shower drain, stained carpeting, paint chipping off the walls, and our headboards were dusty all the time. The pool is 5 feet and deeper with only a few shelves for anyone shorter to be able to stand (up to their ankles) so if you are shorter than 5 feet you really can’t be in the pool without a float. The breakfast buffet was good if you got there early otherwise they were quick to run out of food and not replenish it quick enough. it’s a shame that the restaurants are not open for lunch and your only option was to return to the buffet or eat junk food poolside snacks, which were subpar. we did not eat at the resort for dinner and the offsite restaurants in Curaçao are fantastic and worth exploring. we did hear from people that making reservations for dinner at the restaurants on site is nearly impossible. The website indicated they had an arcade room for teens which they do not when I asked management. They said “we used to” so that was very disappointing. Also, the activities desk was constantly out of amenities they should’ve had like a ball pump and balls and activities for the kids.
The best part about the hotel is the beach set up. The reef is perfect for snorkeling and the sand is powdery white. The waterpark was really fun as well.
