"The room is clean, staff not that accommodating, but explained things properly. property is very good, we parked at the front of the room, easy for us to load and unload our things. Hard to find a bit because of the road closures. "

"There was no drinking water in the room and had to ask for the blankets which were not present in the room. Major concern... the motel room service telephone is not working. Hence, whenever you have any concerns, have to leave your room and go to the office to share anything with the staff."

"Had a booking and was supposed to arrive before midnight. However the road going west from Golden to Revelstoke was closed due to avalanche control. So, I had no choice but to stay in Golden overnight instead. Called next day explained the situation and they refused to not charge me for the night. It was clearly a case of unable to arrive at hotel. What sort of management decision to charge for an unexpected circumstance. I hope your hotel makes a good profit from an unethical business practice....

"It’s good for the price. It was clean, comfortable, and I appreciated having different heat controls in each room! However there is a dehumidifier in the main room, which runs all the time. We stayed for a week so we would shut it off at night so we could sleep and leave it on during the day. We had to empty it a couple times and it was full! The property is old, but has been refreshed with new paint, flooring, etc. which explains the dehumidifier. We didn’t have anything to scour dishes with,...

"An older style motel so quite simple. However it is spotlessly clean and comfortable with a friendly welcome. A good value stopover for travelling."

"I took a while for the owner to answer the bell. After that the service was very good. My room didn't have a microwave so they let me use the microwave in another room that was not being used. The room was clean and tidy. The door handle was a little loose but it worked fine. There was a nice covered area with tables to picnic. Though I didn't use it there is a communal fire pit. Overall an enjoyable stay. I would stay there again."
