"We were not able to get to the hotel due to a major power outage in Columbia Valley. It prevented all people in the region from getting water, gas and electricity. We were stuck in Golden with our kids and couldn't safely reach Revelstoke. We kindly asked the hotel for a cancellation / refund, even partial, but they just didn't bother. Sad to see such poor customer service in unconventional circumstances. Sadly I can't recommend this hotel."
