"The room and facilities were spotless. Tony the manager was super friendly. Location good for train station and also for Anfield. Buses cancelled easily get to both. Recommend for a night."

"Room a little tired - cracked sink, toilet seat wouldn’t stay up when using the loo.
Great little village pub and very friendly staff.
Good value for money including breakfast. "

"Just like another 2 couples , we couldn’t gain access to the property as we were told it was damaged on arrival to the property .
We were left stranded and had to sleep on the street due to not being able
To afford accadation elsewhere . We spoke to a man who we think was in charge of the property and he couldn’t have gave less of a damn.
Shocking with no communication from Expedia and the property to not have yhe DECENCY to let us know !"

"Lovely and very friendly hosts. Breakfast plentiful. B&B is on the other side of the river. Short uber ride did the trick. Quiet location.
Old newspaper building so has character. The hosts have been doing it up over the years. Parts of the B&B could do with a bit of updating (eg paintwork on doors), but most importantly it's clean and spacious. Bathroom was new. Very nice breakfast area. Had a lovely short stay. "

"So this is a wierd property to rate. It is a no thrills almost air b n b with an awesome location and kick ass bar. Staff was awesome and super informative about Liverpool. If your looking for a place to crash and catch lfc book it, but if you are looking for a super nice hotel with features go somewhere else. Would definitely go back."
