"Stay few times before, currently undergoing maintenance so has scaffolding up. Doesn't affect windows or noise. Parking included great dog friendly great town centre. Shame no more breakfast but didn't really affect stay. Will be back"

"Restaurant was in a pleasant room. Food in the evening was well cooked. Breakfast was very average.
A few lights didn't work in the bedroom.
Restaurant and bar staff were pleasant and helpful."

"Apple House has it's own carpark behind the building.
It is also perfectly located to walk into York through Micklegate Bar. Takes about 10 minutes.
Just be aware that there is no lift if you overpacked like I did !
Great hosts and lovely breakfast.
I would definitely stay here again"

"The place was fantastic and close enough to the city centre. 2/3 members of staff were great! There was one woman that when asked if we were late for breakfast at first looked as if she couldn’t understand what I was saying, she being British as well as the other two members of staff. She said that we were late but the buffet area was empty and what it seemed ready have their guests, that part was disappointing because we were hungry and we were willing to pay the £15/person.
