"really comfortable stay - the cottage is cosy but has high ceilings so no banged heads and it doesn't feel cramped. beds really comfy. fantastic location - amazing walks from outside the front door. lovely pub in the village down the hill. and the owners run the tea room next door so left us a lovely plate of cakes on arrival! "I live near Southampton and run a company based near Stoke and this is my favourite perch; the kitchen lets me eat normally as I tend to keep strange hours. Just right size and facilities for me. Could just as well be a perch for a countryside break. Highly recommended "

"Fantastic little cottage and the attention to details was great!!! The owners supplied milk, coffee, tea and chocolate chip muffins which were very much welcomed after a long drive. Location was brilliant and very close to Alton Towers (5 mins drive) and the suggested walks around the area were very relaxing. All in all we had a fantastic and relaxing time staying in this cottage. Definitely will be back and recommend to family and friends."

"Wonderful cottage, a perfect size for our family of 4. The accommodation is on a working farm but was quiet throughout with lovely gardens. Alton Towers was a short drive away as well as sports for hiking / nature. "
