"Check in was a disaster. They didn't communicate through email any check in instructions, they use an App that I don't have or use. Once we cleared that up it took almost an hour from the time I got the the property to figure out their demands to get an expensive deposit made until I could get a code to get into the place. The management company the owner uses for check in is a disaster. Poor customer service, didn't respond to most emails. The place itself is small and basic which is fine....

"The house hadn’t been cleaned properly, there was thick dust on every surface in the bedrooms, the carpets hadn’t been hoovered, we were missing a duvet on one of the beds and we didn’t have enough towels. There was an ashtray in the garden full of cigarettes ends from the previous occupants. There’s no mirrors in the bedrooms and the bathroom mirrors have no plug sockets making it awkward for anyone using hairdryers. I would not recommend this property to anyone."

"Unfortunately, the property did not meet reasonable cleanliness or maintenance standards. On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. "Really friendly and helpful hosts and the chalets are finished to a very high standard. Lovely and peaceful with a really comfy bed. Didn’t find fault with anything during my stay and would definitely recommend to others and stay again if I’m in the area. 10/10"

"It’s a really cute place to stay. Beautiful views and garden with a lovely canal side walk nearby. Nicely designed inside and Steve, the owner, is incredibly friendly and helpful. Would have liked to have been able to stay longer."
