"I had a great stay, the host is super nice.
Just Keep in mind that she does live downstairs so for people who want complete intimacy it might not be the right place but for me It was perfect. It felt like a homestay.
The room was clean, large and cozy.
The breakfast was delicious and homemade.

"It was a bit funky place, but it was spacious for 4 people. The sink in the bathroom was so tiny that I had to use the kitchen sink to do the normal stuff. There aren't any stores around, and it was a 10-minute walk to the nearest convenience store. If not driving, it is not a very convenient location, but it is walkable to/from the JR Toyoshina station.
I didn't think it was worth the cost (about $300 for 1 night), but it was during the mid-August travel time in Japan."
