"Pros: The place is very nice and clean. Comfortable beds. Separate toilet, sink and shower is a definite plus. Cons: Check in process is terrible. They don't allow check ins until 3p. It is understandable, however, there is only 2 chairs in that tiny lobby for customers to wait. There were 3 other customers that were there already waiting when we arrIved. They said they've been waiting for 3 hrs to check in. They were nice enough to give their seats to us. I don't get why Minn Umeda will...

"I stayed in room for 4 people, 2 twin beds and 2 futon beds. Room is spacious for japanese standard and beautifully decorated. Convenience store just next to the hotel building. Walkable distance to popular Gion, Kiyomizu dera and Kodaiji temple. Everything is excellent. Thank you Minn Gion."
