"We had an authentic Japanese experience staying here. The location was perfect - the house was on a quiet street while still being very close to the main attractions in the Gion area. The interior was beautiful, clean and well insulated with heated floors and AC in each room. Beds were very comfortable and the upstairs living offered a lovely veiw of the Yasaka Pagoda. "The house was amazing. Very warm, convenient location to relax in the city. I would recommend. As other reviewers said, there is a motion detector light going off many times at night and you can hear a bit the cars in the night passing, but that was not a problem for us at all. Would definitely rebook."

"Great spot to stay at if you are driving all over Kyoto. They have their own parking spots. The place was really spacious and offered free bikes to use around town. They even have a washer and dryer. I’ll definitely come back!"
