"This hotel worked really well for my needs. The room was clean and well stocked. Having a washer & dryer was a big plus. Having a car when visiting Christchurch is a must. A lot of the things to visit are not close to each other. This hotel is on a major road not far from downtown. Getting around and parking is pretty straightforward. I would stay here again if ever in Christchurch."

"In the middle of the nite there are lots of police car sirens, some drunks talk loudly, and the worst was a couple of drunks fighting loudly and involve police. It was weekend nite though.."

"Peter was very helpful. We had lots of space for our things and us — two bedrooms with a double/queen size bed in each, one bathroom, a walk-in closet, a kitchen, dining table, and living area. It would have been nice to have a little more storage in the bathroom and to have some Kleenex. The building is located within walking distance of many eateries and the city center. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others."

"Location is very good. Building is old but you could feel history and tradition, which makes a nice cultural experience for those who have different backgrounds. Oldness is not a bad thing, but at least they need to make sure all the facilities work fine. Heater in the living room was out of order. No one wants than in winter."

"Beautiful room. Felt like we were staying in a condo! Loved how close it was to the market and beautiful walks at the Botanical gardens. If we come back to Christchurch will be staying here for sure!!"
