"We booked this room very last minute, and I can only assume we were given a room that had recently lost a fight with a demolition crew. I believe it was intended to be an accessible room, although apparently “accessible” also meant access to the carpet underlay, which was helpfully exposed where the carpet had frayed and pulled away from the tiles.
