"The staff was very helpful, the beds are comfyand there is a wonderful view of the Aare River. Note that there is no AC and because we arrived during a heatwave, the staff provided us with fans. There are green spaces and a water park near by. The historic district of Solothurn is just across the river. I would stay here again."

"All good and nice but..... I think this must be the only hotel I ever visited which did not have tea/coffee making facilities in the room (kettle, a few teas and coffees). I find that to be essential if you want to have a cup of tea in the evening or a coffee in the morning if checking out really early. I think it may be on purpose to force you buying their expesive breakfast. This is the reason I score it as Okay as the room was fine and air-conditioning in hot weather really helped."
