"Our stay at 57 Waterberg was truly unforgettable and easily one of the highlights of our trip to South Africa. From the moment we arrived, there was an incredible sense of warmth, hospitality, and genuine care. The lodge manages to combine a beautiful, luxurious experience with an intimate, family-like atmosphere, which is not easy to accomplish—especially in such a remote and spectacular setting. The lodge itself is absolutely beautiful. Everything feels modern, elegant, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed while still allowing you to feel completely connected to the surrounding African wilderness. Our room was modern, spacious, extremely comfortable, and beautifully appointed. I also really enjoyed spending time at the pool between activities. There is something very special about being able to relax in such a luxurious environment while knowing you are in the middle of a game reserve surrounded by nature. One of the biggest highlights of our entire experience was Petrus, our game drive guide. Petrus is simply amazing. He has around 30 years of experience, and it shows immediately—not only in his knowledge of the animals and the reserve, but in the way he reads the environment and understands what guests are hoping to experience. He was professional, patient, caring, and genuinely passionate about what he does. He never made the game drives feel rushed or routine. He took the time to explain what we were seeing, answer our questions, and make every drive feel like a comple"

"We had an idyllic getaway at the tent camp. Firstly, the tents are really stunning. The bed is extra wide and comfortable. The outside shower is awesome first thing in the morning. The tent was very clean, and easy to use. The camp is very quiet, and the night sky is spectacular. The attention by both the staff and ranger was also great. The chef was first class, and the food lacked nothing. It was maybe a little too much. The Saturday evening braai was a highlight, and breakfast robust. The staff went out of their way to treat us on the Sunday, and arranged a picnic by the dam. The game drives are great and the vehicle was comfortable. We had sunset drinks and snacks, and the blankets helped when it got cold. Frank the Rhino likes to hang around the camp, and there is also a couple of porcupines onsite."

"Our family group of five (across three rooms) had an exceptional stay at Babohi at Qwabi. The safari experience exceeded every expectation, giving us close encounters with many animals. We enjoyed a sundowner with Rhinos walking around us, and woke up to Lions roaring in the early morning, moments we'll never forget. We also spotted Elephants, Hippos, and Giraffes throughout our stay. The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, offering the perfect retreat after a day out in the bush. The food was consistently delicious and of high quality, with every meal feeling like a special occasion. What really made this trip stand out was the staff. Joe made our game drives informative and exciting, and the front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping teams were all impeccable, warm, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. We'd happily return and recommend Babohi at Qwabi to anyone looking for an authentic, high-quality safari experience."

"Accommodation is basic but clean and functional. We love all the outdoor pools both warm and cold as they are in pristine condition. The indoor hot pool is amazing at night. Good way to relax before bedtime. There is only one waterslide but it is fast and fun. Mini golf course is very challenging but great."
