Crown, Droitwich by Marston's Inns
2/10 Terrible
"Positive points to say about the pub/accommodation. 1) I booked two rooms at this property and called in the morning of arrival to ask if one of the rooms could be changed to an accessible room due to a family member having an operation and wouldn't be able to easily climb over the bath for a shower, the Lady on the phone was fantastic in organising that for us. 2) The duty manager on Saturday morning sorted out the food issues from Friday night. The bad points 1) We had dinner in the hotel, one meal sent back, when it came out a second time it was lacking a few items from the description. 2) despite asking two members of staff, it took four attempts to speak to the manager . 3) The hotel is in desperate need of some love and attention like paint, carpets and general cleaning and maintenance. Our room had dirt, cobwebs on the outside windows, it's the first thing you see when looking out, something easy to a achieve. When I flushed the toilet, I then turned on the tap at the sink to was my hands but the water unfortunately just pulsated out. Later on while taking a shower, my wife came into the bathroom to wash her hands at the sink and the shower just then trickled out, it was like something out of the third world But again, a bit of maintenance could have sorted these issues out. I have stayed at other Marston hotels in the past I appreciate there was staffing issues on Friday night and only one chef. Apparently a new owner had just taken over this premises."

The Wood Norton
8/10 Good
"The Hotel its self is stunning, beautiful period building and amazing grounds. What let this hotel down was: The floors in bedrooms were still quite dirty and furnishing/wall fixtures were dusty. Information about our stay was handed on a piece of paper and I would expect it to be in the room. Not a bad thing, but generally passwords, restaurant opening times etc would not be on a handout. We were told the bar closed at 4pm Saturday so our party stayed out, when actually we could of all come back and been able to grab a “nightcap” before midnight ( after a very difficult day attending our friends funeral and wake, we would have preferred to be in a more relaxed atmosphere instead of a busy town) Sunday morning breakfast was chaotic, and felt very rushed. The senior staff appeared to be a female, who not only closed the restaurant door and demanded we go another way, but continued to stomp around , slamming doors, cups and cutlery like her job was an inconvenience. This made me feel very uncomfortable, heightened my anxiety and others in my party felt like we didn’t belong there. This was the downfall of our already emotional visit to Fladbury. Also regarding breakfast, the eggs Royale and Benedict were cold and the full English lacked sustenance, one sausage and slice or bacon for the price of £25 seems a little disappointing."

The Fish and Anchor Inn
2/10 Terrible
"Kitchen was a disgrace the sugar caddie was disgusting, didn’t want to use the shower which was shared with 5 other bedrooms. The socket was filthy and thick grey cobwebs hanging from the bottom of radiator"

Chequers Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Great last minute stopover. Ample parking and good food."

The Northwick Arms
6/10 Okay
"Breakfast was excellent. The only poor thing was that, for a large, modern hotel, there was no lift for the elderly. The stairs were steep, narrow and curved with poor handrail support. It was difficult and painful to use. Parking was okay, except fot the fact that the disabled bays had lost most of the signage so that the fit and young were occupying these bays."

George Apartments
10/10 Excellent
"Very clean, we had a small double room which was fine for a couple of nights, very modern and location was perfect. Would have been nice to have a couple of bottles of water the local coop shuts on a Sunday at 4 so there is nowhere to buy water apart from the pubs. Would definitely stay again."

The Lodge at Broadway
10/10 Excellent
"Was in a good location, room was an average size for the area."
