"I loved the location in the UWS.
The room was clean and adequate for one person.
I was not informed about the "facility fee", which was more than $200 for the week in addition to the room fee. It was a surprise at check out. I was charged for things I didn't use: a walking tour which I didn't know about, and bottles of water in the room which I didn't use. Those should be optional and guests should be informed beforehand.

"TV streaming did not work, no fridge in room, place was rundown and way way way overpriced.
I would label this place as a 1 to 2 star hotel. You do have a bathroom in your room, at least there is that.
Staff were not helpful in resolving problems. Hunters of dollars later for a single night stay/sorry don’t cut it."

"The property is a bit odd. There were rooms on our floor that made it feel like a halfway house. Unlocked and they looked like people were living like hoarders in the hotel. "Staff was very gracious upon arrival.
If you are going to spend time in your hotel room, this is not for you. But if you’re planning to be out and about all day, Pod 51 is perfect.
The little cafe is great if you need a quick bite and coffee.
Shared bathrooms are clean but get a private room if you’re at all squeamish about wearing shower shoes when showering.
Bottom line, this is a great, clean, energetic place but not luxurious."
