There was no bedding in the room for the sofa bed. We phoned 3 times to get it sent up to us but it took 3 hours. We eventually got the bedding at 11.30pm, we’d been travelling from UK so we’re really tired. Absolutely not good enough!!

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was comfy, clean and spacious. Exactly like the pictures on the website. View of the Empire State Building while lying in bed was an unexpected bonus. Complementary tea and coffee in the morning was welcomed as was the bottled Water in room water in the room. We utilised the baggage storage before check in and after check out. It was seamless and very useful. We would definitely stay again if visiting New York and would recommend to friends and family.

Pros: Location, Clean room, loved the housekeeper. Cons: No coffee maker, bathrobes or some of the standard items you'd expect from a $400 a night room. Heater wasn't working so they brought space heater. Front desk doesn't communicate well or follow thru on requests. The manager did call me & apologized for miscommunications. Had a nice stay in Mid Town

Very cool historical property that honors it with theming. We loved the artistic touches in the lobby and rooms. Room was a good size for NYC, very comfortable beds and a quiet area. Easily walkable to many areas. Staff was responsive and helpful. Would stay again.

Checked in and the floor was very obviously not vacuumed. Visible debris everywhere. Told the front desk and she very kindly moved us to another room. The water temperature was wack. Hot one minute, then cold for a minute, then back to hot. Literally had to step out of the water until it got warm enough to get under the spray again. We weren’t there to spend time at the hotel so as far as a place to sleep, it served its purpose. If we had wanted to spend more time at the hotel, I might look elsewhere, but we would stay there again if we found a good price deal. We likely wouldn’t stay at full price, though, as there are other hotels we like better. Overall it was an average to above average stay. We really appreciated that they had complimentary coffee and tea available in the mornings. That was a nice touch. We also really liked that you could walk to Bryant Park in minutes and that we had easy access to train stations. There is also a great bakery/coffee shop next door. We would consider staying there again.

We checked in the hotel around 4 pm and asked for an extra blanket for our kids who were staying on the sofa bed. No blankets were delivered for hours, even it's past the kids' bedtime. so we pulled the cover from the main bed. We called the front desk again, and they told me the hotel manager insisted on calling us about it. She called us around 10 pm, waking up the kids who we just put to sleep. Finally, the blankets were delivered, and the family could rest. The internet of the hotel was very spotty at best. I couldn't finsh a Zoom call before having to change to my phone's hotspot. Also, there is no modern TV-personal device set-up in the hotel. You can't cast screens or borrow a cable to connect to the device from the font desk. The internet service is really subpar for a 4-star hotel. However, the cleaning staff are good and professional. I liked how clean they maintained the room.

Great staff, very friendly. Nice room, a few random hairs on the bathroom walls from cleaning. It is missing in-room coffee and any literature about the city or any channels about the city.

The shower water was brown and there was a blood stain on the mattress cover…thankfully we only stayed two nights, i would’ve requested a room switch if I didn’t already set the room up for a Christmas weekend with my partner.

The staff who greeted me and accomated my early check in were both wonderful and welcoming. The room was very clean and perfect for the 3 of us. I will be returning.

Was nice. Check in wasn’t so good. I was just asked to tap my card without a proper breakdown of how the deposit works. But otherwise it was fine

Excellent customer service at The Renwick. Gary, the front desk manager did an amazing job accommodating our family due to airport closures. The service and location are top notch!

The Front Desk staff were not very welcoming. I felt like I was bothering them when we first arrived and had to check our bags. When we returned to check in later, it was the same thing. I had to stand there until they finished chatting and eating before they addressed me. The room had nail holes in the ceiling by the window and the walls had some stains. I do want to acknowledge that bellman and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful.
