We had an incredible stay at Sumitra and couldn’t recommend it more highly. Everything was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was warm, attentive and genuinely outstanding, and we were pleasantly surprised by how reasonably priced everything was. The location was perfect for us—peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle, yet only a short bike ride to restaurants, beaches and anything else we wanted to explore. The complimentary bikes were one of the highlights of our stay and made getting around so easy and enjoyable. The spa was another standout. We had some of the best massages we’ve ever experienced, and it was the perfect way to relax during our holiday. We would absolutely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sumitra to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing stay with exceptional hospitality.

The alantara offered Balinese style rooms with comfortable bed. The grounds had a tropical vibe and the pool was generous in proportion with a safe shallow end for small children. The spa treatmemts were great with professional therapists. And the shuttle bus to town centre and beach offered regular schedule.

Great place to stay and handy to Ubud centre … will stay here again

1: Extremely clean and attention to detail was second to none. Our Deluxe Pool Access Room was beautiful, especially the bathroom. 2: Staff were amazing, very attentive, always friendly and would go out of their way to help you if need be. 3: Air conditioning was excellent in our room and more importantly you could change the climate control yourself. 4: We enjoyed a daily buffet breakfast, which gave us an option of 4 choices: the American breakfast, Continental breakfast, Indonesian breakfast and Healthy Choice breakfast. We did not try all as we went for the American which consisted of a selection of Coffee of your choice, fresh Juices, Assorted Pastries, Assorted fresh fruit plate and Eggs of your choice with bacon, baked beans, potatoes, sausage and toast. A very satisfying and filling breakfast , with some great options to choose and tastes great.
