Holiday Inn Express Dixon By Ihg
8/10 Good
"The hotel was being remodeled but even in spite of that it was clean and quiet and the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed"

"For the price that we paid for the room it was very clean. Very nice huge TV. Everything was nice to look at look like everything was in good shape. The beds were comfortable. Didn’t use the swimming pool, but it was available. The staff were very nice. very complementary would recommend this stay."

"It was an older, but clean hotel. The breakfast was delicious -- especially the sausage gravy! There was some highway noise, but not overwhelming. We would stay again."
Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Rock Falls, IL
8/10 Good
"I was a bit concerned on the way to the hotel since some of the reviews were less than good. I am happy to say the room and hotel were clean. Staff was pleasant. A few issues: 1) I was in room 127. Ground level. One of the windows to the outside could not be locked and there was no screen on that window. I had a metal item that I was able to use to keep it from being opened from the outside. This needs to be fixed. 2) the east door to the parking lot seemed to be unlocked at all times, even at night. It had a card reader for security, but it was either broken or just not activated. This is a relatively safe area, but security is always important. 3) Room only had one washcloth and I asked for another but they were all out. I was given a couple of smaller handtowels. Some attention to these things would elevate overall ratings, I am sure."

"This is where you want to stay if you're in the area. The property is brand new and even smells like a new building. Front staff couldn't have been nicer. Room is clean and entire property as well. Little details like the board with all the recommendations of restaurants and local services make the place feel like everyone cares. We'll be back again if we're coming to the area"
