They also helped with tours and other suggestions for things to do. The room was spacious and clean; laundry service, room service all wonderful. The grounds were well kept and beautiful. "Pool under construction not finished. The speed boat to pick you up or to back and forth is $30 each way. . Beautiful view . Very limited selection food wise and prices are soo high. "

"I had a wonderful week at Sangat Island Dive Resort. Really I cannot overstate how special the place is. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the room is clean and comfortable (no problem without air conditioning, there is a lovely breeze), the food is delicious, the location is beautiful and so peaceful, and the dive shop is fantastic It was beyond my expectations, just perfect. I did my PADI advanced certification (big thanks to Tom!). The wrecks are very cool, spectacular coral and a variety of fish. I also enjoyed the Coron Island Adventure with Clyde - such a fun, well-planned day to more spectacular places. I should also note that I was completely comfortable traveling alone there. Sangat proves that we can have a lovely vacation and still respect the environment. We can minimize our impact. I’ve heard other “eco resorts” aren’t really protecting the local environment. Sangat is genuine. "
