"Very soothing little oasis outside Mancos. Nicely appointed, quiet, with lovely, lush green surroundings. Felt very private. An easy, short drive to Mesa Verde. My singular complaint is that it needs better pillows, but that's such a minor issue. "

"The parking situation and how to actually check-in was a little rough, since there are few parking spots, all are very small, and the check-in desk is in a different hotel. Once that got sorted, it was very smooth. The attendant showed us where we can park outside, which was way more spacious. The worst I can say about the room is that one particular floorboard creaked loudly when touched (I feel sorry for anyone who was in the floor below me). All in all, it was a great experience. Well...

"Literally the best place to stay in all of Durango even for short stays. I always come here and had to go to a different hotel one time and immediately regretted not staying at The Leland House. It’s central to everything fun in downtown and so nice you might not want to even leave your room."

"Very nice older property right near Gondola. No ac in rooms and windows shut so quite warm when we checked in. The hot tubs and pool were very nice. We had some plumbing issues. Probably a bit overpriced compared to some other properties nearby. We were attending the bluegrass festival and that was fantastic!"

"We had a relaxing, clean, and comfortable stay in Cortez. The proximity to Mesa Verde and Hovenweep was a big bonus. The owners of the casita were terrific to work with. We would stay here again!"
