Bed was comfortable, view was great, but stay was unpleasant overall. For the considerable price, no help with luggage. Remote location on dirt road. Mosquitos in room. Loud groaning air conditioner. Weak breakfast of fruit, bottled juice, unseasoned eggs and plain toast woth no butter or jam. They could not break a $100 bill. Worst, we got no shower but a trickle of cold water. No apology or compensation. Don't come here.

Notre séjour à Hotel Alma de Ojochal a été absolument magique. Dès notre arrivée, Ana, la responsable, nous a accueillis avec une grande gentillesse et beaucoup de professionnalisme. Elle est attentionnée, disponible et veille à chaque détail pour que l’expérience soit parfaite. L’hôtel est petit, intimiste et plein de charme. On s’y sent privilégié, presque comme dans un refuge exclusif au cœur de la nature. La vue est tout simplement à couper le souffle… et les couchers de soleil sont parmi les plus beaux que nous ayons vus. Un moment suspendu chaque soir. Mention spéciale au chef : la cuisine est excellente, raffinée et savoureuse. Chaque repas est une expérience en soi. Le personnel est adorable, toujours souriant et attentionné. À noter : l’accès nécessite absolument un 4x4, la route est escarpée — mais une fois en haut, la récompense est grandiose. Nous recommandons sans hésitation. Un endroit exceptionnel pour se ressourcer et vivre un moment unique au Costa Rica.

Absolut empfehlenswert! Wir haben zwei Tage hier verbracht und wurden überaus herzlich empfangen. Auch bei der Buchung von Ausflügen etc. wurde uns sehr geholfen. Das Hotel bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Gleich am Anreisetag wurden wir von einem Tukan und Affen in den Bäumen begrüßt. Das Essen ist ebenfalls fantastisch. Der Koch bereitet alle Gerichte mit so viel Liebe und Hingabe zu. Es war mit das beste Essen und Hotel, das wir in Costa Rica hatten. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

Nette kleine Unterkunft mit einigen Schönheitsfehlern. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste, was sehr angenehm war. Großes Zimmer, in dem gerne in den Ecken etwas besser hätte geputzt werden können. Die tote Motte, die bei unserer Ankunft auf dem Boden lag, wurde erst am 3. Tag weg geputzt. Die Gläser und Tassen habe ich nach 3 Tagen zum Spülen ins Restaurant gebracht. Ich hatte erwartet, dass sie bei der Zimmerreinigung ausgetauscht werden. Das Zimmer war groß genug, dass 2 Kofferablagen Platz gefunden hätten und die Koffer hätten nicht auf dem Boden liegen müssen. Schöner Pool, einige Liegen sind kaputt (war uns egal, da ausser uns niemand da war) Kleine Frühstücksauswahl. Unsere Sonderwünsche wurden erfüllt, was toll war! Beim Personal war von etwas unfreundlich bis total freundlich alles dabei....

Vale por el esfuerzo de la gerente.

El hotel es para estar tranquilo y relajado, la estadía fue buena y el servicio que Yuli la gerente intenta dar es muy bueno, aunque el personal no ayuda mucho. Lo terrible fue la comida, el desayuno estaba incluido, pero como el hotel tiene un servicio de compra de los desayunos con el restaurante de las instalaciones, no hay buen servicio. Por lo malo de las comidas, no pudimos comer allí y salimos fuera. Las habitaciones tienen una puerta de vidrio por donde entra la luz muy temprano, no hay problema si te quieres ir de paseo, pero cuesta quedarse a dormir tarde. El lugar es muy bonito.

Bonito Hotel. Pequeño, simple y muy tranquilo. Alejado de la calle principal para descansar que es su atractivo principal. Su personal aunque es escaso para sus 5 habitaciones se esfuerza por llenar tus expectativas. Si no tienes automóvil 4x4 mejor ir en verano, porque la calle de acceso como todas en la zona, es bastante irregular pero despacio se puede ir sin problema, Su pequeño restaurante no abre todos los días, pero July y su personal siempre te darán recomendaciones muy buenas. En la noche las luces de la entrada del hotel las apagan a las 10 pm, pero no tienes problema en entrar si usas tu teléfono o alguna linterna para poder ingresar. Muy limpio, el desayuno agradable, buen Internet, linda piscina y una vista espectacular. Gente atenta y amable. En general, nos gustó mucho nuestra estadía, volveríamos a descansar y gozar de la tranquilidad de la zona y de un hotel pequeñito y muy quieto.
