"Jorge was so welcoming. He was always available to offer a suggestion or direction The facility was VERY nicely appointed from the towels and sheets to the tissues. Every light was spot lighting a beautiful object in the room. The ligjts would come on magically as you entered and turned off just as effortlessly. The common area on the second floor was a wonderful addition and allowed for an open space to enjoy wine and a snack. "

"The property was in a quiet residential area yet so close to the old town via bus just 100 metres down the road or 15-20 minute walk on a beautiful walking path. Eva was a wonderful host who showed us through our apartment on check in and gave us some valuable tips. We also utilised the upstairs laundry for a small fee which was most appreciated after a couple of weeks living out of our suitcases. Would highly recommend this place"

Built in music/speakers in the bathroom was cool, bed very cozy, a little too much furniture stuffed into the room so had to move around to accommodate our luggage, but overall a lovely place to stay over Christmas 🎄excellent location, restaurant on site was superb as was the breakfast each morning."

The room is great, very clean and 2 small bedrooms of the entry corridor, this allowed our family to spread out. Location is very central with a short walk over the river to the Old Town but also plenty of dinning options from the front door. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay "

"This is an amazing hotel. From the check in where you get personal attention from Ulrike and have all questions answered over a glass of sparking wine or tea, to the magnificent rooms, to the wonderful in house restaurant. The location in the old town could not be better. A few minutes walk to the cable car up to the fortress, to the many shops in the old town. "The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s within a 25 min walk to the city center but there are regular buses a block away that go right into the city center which make it super convenient. The hotel gave us a free pass for the bus. It was a breeze going back and forth the 2 days we were there. Also the hotel is walking distance to the main train terminal. "

"Unforgettable hotel! From the moment you get to the gate it feels like a fairy tail with so much character, arts, history- just such a unique experience. Great service, good breakfast, spacious rooms. Although not in the center of historical Salzburg, so car is needed. Getting around on foot with 2 kids was challenging... Big room, good enough for family of 4. Take at least half of day to enjoy the walks around the buildings, near the lake and in the palace - it makes all the difference.The...
