"I was disappointed with my stay because several details listed about the hotel were inaccurate. There is no airport shuttle service, and lunch is not provided, contrary to what was advertised.
The room itself also needs attention. The sofas and bed are outdated and should be repaired or replaced. The air conditioner in my room was not functioning properly, which made the stay uncomfortable.

"This is a fantastic place to stay. Kangaroos and large sulphur-crested cockatoos feel like part of the cottage itself. You naturally greet the animals as you see them around, and in the early morning you wake up to unique bird sounds that make you feel as if you are in the middle of the forest.
The fireplace in the living room is wonderfully warm, and both the indoor and outdoor dining areas are excellent."

"We had a wonderful stay at Yarra Valley Lodge and couldn't have been more impressed. "All in all we had a good stay there. Honestly, the cabins have seen better days and were a bit rough round the edges but, it was fully equipped for a family to stay (only 2 of us) and had pretty much all we needed.
Beds were comfy, everything worked and thank god there was enough heating as it was FREEZING COLD down there.
It is a bit tricky to find at first off badger rd. I would not like to be arriving at night and having to find the entrance!
