"Clean employees very friendly "

"I would describe this more as a basic bed & breakfast than a hotel. While there is a communal kitchen, it is poorly equipped with only a microwave, kettle, and mismatched cutlery. My stay in Room 209 was very disappointing. The room was in poor condition with lifting flooring, visible plumbing pipes, and dated decor that felt like student housing. Most concerningly, there was a screw protruding from the bed frame under the mattress. Noise is a major issue; the pub downstairs (Morrisons) is incredibly loud, so much so that I was offered earplugs at check-in. Furthermore, the building is undergoing renovations and the lifts felt unreliable. Breakfast was also a let down at €12, it was bland, basic, and poor value for money. The only saving grace is the central location."

"This hotel was an excellent choice for our stay in Budapest. The location is ideal if you prefer quiet evenings with the castle hill to yourselves. Breakfast was beyond continental with something for everyone. Very friendly helpful stall and spacious clean rooms. We will definitely refer friends here."

"Less than 10 min slow walk to the main castle district area , accessing by no16 bus (read up in validating tickets) (then can access airport shuttle bus. Room of high standard , access to book spa privately for €10 pp. attached to a bar / restaurant, but lovely restaurant s a 6-12 min walk away. Area picturesques,"

"Fantastic, hotel, positioned, next to fisherman’s bastion, and close to Buda Castle. The hotel is stylishly furnished, with great views and friendly staff. "

"Stayed one night. Small window (with view of bastion) but very roomie. Just average furnishings. Did not use any of the amenities. Public transport was about a 10min walk away so not convenient if you have check in luggage."

"I love this hotel and have been back more than once. The staff are very nice and helpful and the location is lovely. It is not perhaps the best location if you want to fall out of your hotel straight into central Budapest or are into late night clubbing or dining but i love the location on Margaret Island. For me provides the perfect balance between the peaceful nature of the island and the bustle of the city. There are regular, reliable buses into the city and the view as you cross the bridge is of the stunning Parliament building - especially gorgeous when lit up. The rooms are clean and traditional rather than modern - the sister hotel is more modern but I preferred the tradiitional feel of this one personally. Beds comfy and bathrooms clean and spacious. There is a small place to eat here and breakfast is provided in the main dining room. You can also get a nice (but a bit overpriced) buffet in the nighbouring hotel for dinner. The spa and pool are also and accessed via an underground tunnel joining hte two hotels. Robes and towels are provided. Gym is also well equipped. Personally can't speak highly enough of this place and I would go back anytime."
