"The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly. The AC left a bit to be desired, it kept cycling just to keep the room at or near 66 degrees with an outside temperature of just above 70 degrees. The Planes Flying Over were the WORST. In the day, they were Nonexistent. At 10pm to around 2:30am when I was finally able to get to sleep, THEY WERE ONE AFTER ANOTHER AND LOUD. "The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room had a very strong sewage smell. We arrived very late at night and were only there 2 nights so we did not have time to request a room change. It was Derby weekend and the hotel was full. Not sure if it was just our specific room as we were beside the laundry."

"The towels, sheets, mattresses and pillows are new and well maintained. The view from the window in the rooms of the A wing facing the lake is beautiful. The floors were dirty on all the corners of the room and the first room we were offered had the door broken into and it wouldn’t lock. Staff was helpful to immediately relocate us, but for a family with kids already tired from the road, it really bothered me.
