"Our room was in Birch Tower and was very nice, new, and clean. Beds were super comfortable and I liked the shower and bathroom. Room came with mini fridge and individual coffee maker. Nice that there was a coffee/pastry stand on the ground floor below us. The location was excellent and loved the art all around on 4th Street. Highly recommend staying here!"

"Been staying at the Whitney Peak Hotel for more than twenty years. It has gone downhill recently - probably related to the Hilton purchase. Some of the staff seem to be out-to-lunch. Asked for a restaurant recommendation and was directed to Denny's. Not OK. The Whitney Peak is still the only hotel in Reno I am aware of that does not have a casino and does not allow smoking. Still important to me. Room was clean. Bedframes appear to have been replaced with cheap junk. Headboards too. Very hard to...

"When checking in (it was late, around midnight) I asked for a room that was close to the elevators so that my two kids that were asleep wouldn't have to walk that far. Wouldn't you know it, she literally gave us the furthest room from the elevator. Like. The longest possible walk. I took it as a big FU and won't being going back."
