"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

"The heat is controlled by the staff and is turned on from 9-11:00pm (only) It was extremely cold ( it actually hailed in the afternoon) and I had to ask for a second comforter - in addition to the extra blanket in the closet. "

"We arrived at Renvyle House Hotel and were met by three receptionists who were super friendly and helpful. They arranged for someone to carry our cases to our rooms. Our rooms were very comfortable and had lovely views of the sea. Dinner and breakfast were brilliant with fresh fruit and breads made on the premises. "The Ashville Guesthouse is a charming property just on the outskirts of Westport. The room was spacious, clean and quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was freshly prepared with something for every taste. The full Irish breakfast was excellent. Hilary and Oliver are exceptional hosts and make their guests feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this B&B and will book again if my travels take me back to the area."

"We had a beautiful waterview room. The room was beautiful. I only wish we had more time! The falcon walk with Collin and Mary was more than we hoped for. It is as the book says "one of the thousand things to do before you die". The afternoon tea was delightful. We also had dinner in the Dungeon Room. The front desk did all our reservations before we arrived. We are looking forward to a return trip!"

"A bit disappointing this time around. There were no lamps in the room, the outlets were hard to access, the shower caulking was falling apart, and the wifi didn't work in the room so I had to hotspot. Okay for one night but would have been difficult to have an extended stay. The location is of course superb and the staff at the coffee shop is really lovely and super helpful. "

"I absolutely loved my stay at Westport Woods Hotel and Spa! It’s in such a charming area right by the quay, with plenty of walkable dining options and a small grocery store just around the corner. The staff were incredible - so welcoming and helpful. Everything was very clean, the buffet breakfast was top notch, and the pool, sauna, and steam room were a lovely bonus. It was the perfect place to reset and recharge after staying in hostels. I would absolutely stay here again!"
