"We have stayed on numerous occasions and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The amenities are good. Breakfast excellent, parking good. Two things that could be improvd for us ... some of the rooms are a lttle tired and the fridge was not working in th Grand Suite."

"Outstanding staff with great personalities throughout the hotel. Willing to help and made our stay extremely enjoyable. Collectively, probably the best hotel staff I have had the pleasure to meet. The hotel was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities you could need. Had a lovely swim and used the steam room, that was enjoyable. Enjoyed our 2 course meal and after dinner drinks. The only downside is the continuation of the franchise to charge for parking. The room was well presented, clean and comfortable. Have stayed in its sister hotel in Wolvercote and this was the reason I booked for our group of 4, as that was a great experience also. I recommend both hotels and woukd definitely stay again."

"Good overnight stay, used the pool and sauna which were fine and included. Plenty of areas to have a drink and for food inside or out. Rooms were clean and comfortable although warm during the hot weather as no air con. For such a large and older hotel I imagine this would be difficult to implement across the rooms."
