Hotel dekat Dryll Pool

"Very clean, newly refurbished pub in a good location with interesting artistic decorations by local artist who owns the property. Good base to explore this part of the Wales/England border. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We ate at the pub both nights and evening meal was also very good. Lovely staff. Parking seemed to be no problem, either in pub's very small car park or on roads in village."

"Just got home after a lovely stay at Rowton Castle. The staff were amazing could not do enough for you. Food was good and excellently presented. The grounds were amazingly kept. First visit but definitely not the last."

"For us, just a one-night stay, but we arrived about 4pm on a Sunday afternoon, to find this is an extremely popular venue for Sunday lunches. The menu continued into the evening and we were able to see why it's so popular. A great meal, and then a lovely cooked breakfast the next morning. The room, facilities and bed were all comfortable and all in all, we had made a good choice in a quiet rural location."

"Property and car park was very easy to find, had plenty of instructions on how to get to the property and gain entry well in advance Hotel itself is small and cosy room was well maintained and very clean, bed and bedding was clean and comfy and bathroom was well stocked We had a lovely stay here."

"Absolutely wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Great bed and spacious room. Bathtub, good size bathroom. Food and drinks good too."

"The cabin was warm and comfortable It was well equiped. The road getting to it was narrow but manageable with care. The road surface was good. The view from the front was amazing. We enjoyed our stay very much. "

"Very new, lovely hosts absolutely dog friendly, our dog had his own breakfast everyday! It is rural, so sometimes internet glitches, but we were there over a stormy weekend and the electric substation across the road blew up. Power was back on very quickly."

"Nice staff. Good location 👌"

"A lovely cottage in the middle of nowhere. Just few sheep and birds. Cottage has everything you need and very comfortable bed."

"The cottage was adorable, well equipped and in a beautiful rural setting. The host was wonderfully helpful and friendly."

"On the plus side I thought the staff were very helpful. Our evening meal was acceptable, typical 'pub grub' if I can call it that. However our room was totally unacceptable, small, dishevelled and grubby. The carpet was very worn, a crack in the wash basin, a window which could not be opened and a mattress which emphasised the springs above comfort. Perhaps it was my fault when booking but I thought the room was en suite but access to bathroom was outside our room. This room certainly needs...

"Great people and breakfast"

"Clean rooms, great views and really perfect for a quite relaxing break"

"Absolutely horrible !!! Staff were horrible and the owner was cursing at me and never got the keys to my cabin even after it being paid and money taken out my account !! Waited for 5 hours just to be told “there has been a double booking” and not even getting a refund or any other cabin !!!! Unprofessional service and behaviour from the owner and the staff ! So disappointed with this company!!!"

"Well where do I start, the staff were excellent as they were so helpful, caring and very friendly. The hotel had a great atmosphere and the food was excellent as well as being very tasty. Being treated by the cat was lovely as it was so friendly and waited for us at the top of the stairs when we came to our room. So much looking at planning to go back for another visit."

"We got to the site about 8pm and had to go to the club house to get the key from a helpful local , opened the door and it smelt like a dirty hamster cage , the bedding was roled up in the centre of the bed amd i couldnt tell if it was clean or dirty , walked into the toilet amd there was poo all around the rim of the toilet and in the pan , the floor of the hut was all water damged and peeling up, we turned right around and walked out , in that part of wales driving im the dark to try and fimd a...

"A lovely characterful hotel in fantastic grounds. Good sized rooms and friendly staff. Nice to be welcomed by a roaring fireplace too"
