The day we checked in there was a problem with our room and it was not available. We were put in another room which was not suitable for 3 people. The next morning we were told our room would be ready that day. We asked if they would move our bags to the new room which they agreed. At the end of the day when we returned the girl on the desk had no idea and spoke to a manager and they put us in a room. Our bags were not there. Back to desk and told they would handle it. Went to bar and within 10 minutes they told me we would have to change rooms again. New room had bags thankfully. Seemed to be lack of communication with staff. We were exhausted after being up for 30 hours and it was frustrating. On the plus side overnight manager was amazing getting us cabs for our day trips and coffee to start the day. He wad so pleasant and helpful even stepping in when an inebriated guest was bothering us one morning. Once all was resolved with our room the rest of our stay was great, the breakfast was wonderful and the bar was a nice touch after a long day.

I had an absolutely excellent stay at Dublin One Hotel. Everything about the experience was top-notch—from the stylish, modern rooms to the vibrant atmosphere throughout the hotel. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional service. Staff members Ruth and Nura went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were warm, professional, and incredibly helpful—truly a credit to the hotel. Highly recommend Dublin One for anyone visiting the city. I’ll definitely be back! Lovely hotel located 20-30 minutes walking distance away from major attractions. The hotel itself was beautiful and the breakfast selection was great. Staff were friendly. There are some good food options nearby as well. I would stay here again!

It is a new and well design hotel. But the location is not great, the rooms are very small.

Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, die Zimmer waren sauber, sehr klein aber für einen Städtetrip ausreichend. Leider kam uns die Handtuchstange bei der ersten Benutzung entgegen was aber umgehend repariert wurde nachdem wir an der Rezeption Bescheid gegeben haben. Das Frühstück war nicht besonders abwechslungsreich gerade die Auswahl an frischen Obst könnte durchaus größer sein, aber die Auswahl ist wohl typisch irisch. Die Zimtschnecken waren übrigens gigantisch lecker!

If you are visiting for Dublin centre it is too far out. There were a few streets around the hotel that we were hassled. Shower was also not clean. Although we expected it the rooms are very small it is to be advised that it is a bed with a desk very close to it and feels a bit cramped. The breakfast was good with a good range to chose from.

Room was clean and tidy upon arrival, was sufficient for a short stay however room was smaller than anticipated and didn’t include a set of drawers.

The front staff was excellent! Ruth Elise was exceptional in her professionalism, kindness, and support when I had a problem. She was the reason our stay was so wonderful! She took the time to help us and continued with us until it was resolved.

What I liked: The staff were generally helpful and provided a good service. The restaurant/bar food and drinks were of a high standard, including breakfast which was very good. The restaurant has nice decor and is probably the nicest place in the area. The bathroom was nice and the bed was comfortable. Good public transport links by bus nearby. What I didn’t like: bar/restaurant was expensive. The area of Dublin the hotel is in is quite rundown and very congested, particularly with cars (the whole city is car heavy though). The room itself was quite bare, definitely had a budget feel, but was also a bit dirty (marks and stains on the walls and some on the curtain). There were some sockets above the bed which made a high pitched ringing sound and made it difficult to sleep, had to use my earphones to block it out. I told the staff but they were unable to fix or offer a different room. They said this was the same in every room. A few things were a bit broken or shoddy, like some of the tv channels not working or repeating, the card socket for electricity was hanging out of the wall (which seemed dangerous), the shower head was missing some rubber bits, flickering light in the bathroom, etc. Also, they need to cover the pastries at the front desk and at the back for breakfast. They were covered in flies!
