We checked in online in advance but still had to go to the front desk to collect the key anyway, which made the online check-in feel pointless.
The downstairs/common area was nice and comfortable, but both the drinks and the food menu were overpriced. Because of this, we chose to eat elsewhere and went to Kealys, which is only about a 6-minute walk away near the red parking zone.l and glad we did.
The room itself was comfortable and the bed in our king room was very comfy, and we slept well overall. Unfortunately, the shower was a major letdown — the water pressure was very poor, literally just a trickle. For the price paid, this really isn’t acceptable.
Staff were very hit-and-miss. Some were attentive and polite, but others not. On check-out, I mentioned the shower issue and received no real response, which was very disappointing.
The free airport shuttle is a nice idea, but the driver didn’t assist with luggage and instead went inside to chat with reception, leaving guests to manage their bags themselves.
Overall, there were some positives, but service inconsistencies and poor value for money let the stay down.
