Good but missing important features
Location is perfect, just meters away from the Ploče Gate and the view from the rooms is truly amazing. The size of the apartment is very big and confortable for up to 8 guests with 2 bathrooms.
Now the downside.
When we booked we saw the pictures and we saw a modern decorated apartment, what we received was an older halfway remodeled apartment, definitely not what we saw in the pictures. This is totally misleading, so beware. The owner said that Hotels.com mixed the pictures of 2 apartments that the owner has.
The kitchen urgently needs an update, there were pots, pans and utensils but there were definitely a lot more lids than pots. Silverware and glasware weren’t in the best of shapes.
The entrance hall is full of things and boxes and during our 5 night stay we were welcomed by 2 hangers for drying clothes full towels, tablecloths and even underwear and no one bothered to take them away. Not really a nice sight when you arrive.
The house were the apartment is located is really, really beautiful, but needs more dedication and attention to detail to be rated 3 stars as it is currently rated at the entrance.
I think this apartment is a jewel in the making. With more care it could be rated easily 5 stars, but in its current condition it is just average.
