"Our host was very helpful with everything! Great location! We spent four days in the old city and were Thankful that everything was so close by. Also thankful we had a place to rest in the middle of the day when it gets so hot. It’s close to swimming as well. Which we thoroughly enjoyed! We wouldl come back here in a heartbeat if we’re ever in old Dubrovnik again!"

"Great location inside the Old City. Easy access (as easy as it can get there) from Pile Gate, with a minimum amount of stairs compared to other locations. I heavily suggest you schedule taxis through the property not to get overcharged getting or leaving."

"Great location right outside the Old Town walls, close to taxi drop/pickup area and bus stops. Apartment was comfortable with good air conditioning and generally well equipped - our only complaint was a lack of toiletries. Soap appeared on our second day but we'd already bought some by then! Lovely to have a tasty breakfast overlooking the sea each morning, and helpful to be able to leave our luggage in the restaurant after checking out, as we had a late flight."

"Great room with a lovely bed, good shower, and decent location. It’s convenient to take the bus to and from the old town, as there isn’t much happening in the immediate area. Delicious vegan breakfast buffet at the restaurant downstairs. Also tried some small dishes and cocktails, which were very flavorful. Highly recommended :)"

"Eddie was very accommodating when I arrived earlier than expected. He gave me a quick run down and checked in with me to see if I am doing okay a couple days later which I thought was nice. The room was wonderful and clean and had a great view. I stayed on the second floor and it was a little annoying to hear the people above on the 3rd floor stomping around their room. Other than that it was a great stay. "

"Friendly helpful host who lives in the property as a family home. Clean comfortable room and bathroom, amazing views over the water and just a few minutes away from a swim! No breakfast included but it was easy to pop up to the local shop for coffees and we sat out on the terrace watching the boats and ferry traffic. The property is a little tucked away for east location at first but very close to a bus stop and in a lovely part of the town. "

"Nina was a wonderful host, providing all information for a smooth and comfortable stay. Helped with luggage, extra pillows, first aid (ice), and provided a variety of quality breakfast options. The location was superb. The restaurant below was great too! Highly recommend especially to stay prior to our cruise. "

"Hotel muy agradable el cual está ubicado en un lugar privilegiado: el centro histórico de Dubrovnik. Aunque los coches no pueden entrar dentro de las murallas, se llega en 5 minutos andado desde la puerta este de la ciudad. Aunque no dispone de recepción 24 horas, tendrás contacto constante con el equipo quien se asegura que estés cómodo en todo momento. Es un hotel muy recomendable para poder conocer Dubrovnik. Lo único que hay que hacer notar es que no tiene ascensor y todas las habitaciones...

"Really enjoyed my stay here for a bit of a working vacation. The couple that runs Villa Katarina are lovely. The double room was clean with plenty of space, I made good use of the little fridge and kettle and dining table that had a nice view, as well as the terrace, and the aircon came in handy with the hot days! It's conveniently located to a bakery and many little corner stores, and only a 15 minute walk to Old Town. Beware that just like most of Dubrovnik there are a few steps to get up to...
