"Parking on site is great due to the paid parking all over Newcastle. Our room over looked the fort plus the harbour. Staff were helpful and let us leave the car there after checkout so we could look around. There was nothing to fault and my wife loved the full length mirrors."

"The property was much older than the photos on the website. Found an used razor in the bathroom when we checked in. Bin liner wasn't changed everyday, Found a dirty used face wash towel left in bathtub on one of the day we came back. Definitely not an Accor hotels standards"

"The staff told me to park anywhere on the street until 9 tomorrow, so I dropped the luggage with my wife and tried to find parking. The bellman at the door just stood there and watched my little wife, who is senior citizen, load the heavy baggage onto a cart and didn’t offer to help whatsoever, and there were no other customers at all. It was very ungentlemanly if I’ve ever seen it. The next morning, I informed the front desk staff who didn’t seem to care and said it’s not his job.

"I’ve had two stays here over the last two weeks.
On both occasions, for the most part everything was great. My only disappointment, was has greasy/slippery the bathroom floor was in room 5, and the amount of dirt at the bottom of the shower floor in room 6. The toilet also need a good clean.
That aside, I was very happy with my stay.
Good parking, lovely room, coffee van right outside, great location, friendly staff."
