Farmstay in Dumfries and Galloway

Stayed for two nights and the was very friendly and inviting. Would definitely stay again.

Great location - approx. 50m from the railway station and 400m from Loreburn Hall, the venue for the gig we went to. Quality breakfast. Lovely B&B - our bedroom had a proper-sized TV, the central lounge was bright and tastefully furnished, the breakfast room had great bay windows and quality furniture. Doonhamer hospitality. Adequate on-site parking.

Room was clean room and Staff very hospitable and a Business-friendly environment although location is a bit off road but accessible. Will patronize again when going to Scotland

Really enjoyed our 2 night b&b stay at the Huntingdon house hotel in Dumfries. Perfect position for Dumfries town centre. And dunfries train station. Large car park. Hotel has a bar area, with outdoor seating overlooking front garden. Our room was very comfortable with double bed. Ensuite large shower room. Bathrobes. Plenty of tea/coffee. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice to choose from. And the owners and staff are wonderful. Will stay again and will recommend.

Would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were welcoming and attentive, food was excellent and very reasonably priced, the decor and comfort of the rooms was of a very high standard. Would book this hote again.

The hotel was really nice built in the 17 hundreds nice n clean staff exceptionally helpful and very friendly we required a disabled room there was stairs into hotel which I could manage then once in everything on the level room was lovely with lots of space and had a wetroom with rails to hold onto and the choice of 2 different shower heads to use the meals were really good would highly recommend it

I was a bit concerned about check in arrangements but no problem as owner lives on site. He gave us a warm welcome and made suggestions about where to eat in town. Room was clean and very spacious with seating area and pleasant outlook. Soft furnishings were a bit dated and could be improved. Breakfast was excellent with friendly and welcoming staff. There was parking on site.

Stayed for one night with my boyfriend, to get a break from it all and this was definitely the right place. Nothing was too much trouble, facilities great, bar food gorgeous, lovely atmosphere and tidy rooms. We actually had a bit of a hiccup from expedia as they sold a family room with 2 double beds that the hotel didnt have. The receptionist Fluer (apologies if name spelt incorrect), was very helpful, polite and she made the stay that extra bit special for us and we recieved a...

The room was clean and comfortable and had 2 chairs to watch TV The evening meal was excellent and the staff very attentive and the dining room ambience was lovely. Would definitely stay again and could not recommend it highly enough.
