Nice bedroom . Great beds nice bed linen . Good bathroom needs a little bit of TLC . Some staff very friendly others not really . Food operation is very poor . Most people seemed to eat elsewhere as did we . Great if you just want a room and a swim in the pool .

It was advertised as having a breakfast and bar area. It does not and no meaningful explanation as to why it wasn’t open. The rooms were not kept well and the instant coffee in the room was not replenished. It is not an expensive hotel however it does not seem to be run with pride or care for the guests. Fine for a nights stay

Enjoyed our stay. Positives were friendly staff, very clean spacious room. We were given free breakfast as there was no pool available which was main reason for booking with the hotel. Exceptional value for money. Apart from no leisure facilities the only other negative was some carpets and furniture needed attention as looked tired and worn. Would definitely return and recommend.

The place is just a bit tired. Fair play to the guys that are running it as im sure it takes a lot, but the whole lobby smells like chlorine and the room needs a bit of an update. Not the premium feel I was expecting but in their defence, it was only £60!

Shambolic in all honestly. No weekend duty manager. Staff are incompetent. We listened to a neighbouring room arguing most of night and several calls to reception did nothing. Trying to resolve anything in the morning met with negative results as we were told the manager was not there. The chap didnt even knoe who to try and call I dread to think what would happen if yhere was a serious incident in the hotel!

The hotel was really nice, clean room and warm comfortable environment, the only let down was with the staffing levels. Reception appeared fine, there were no issues with check in. There was only one gentleman serving in the lounge where we had booked afternoon tea. He was manning the bar and serving meals single handed, often leaving people waiting at the bar. Breakfast was unmanned, no staff to welcome or show us to a table so we helped ourselves, we were almost finished when the same gentleman from the previous evening appeared and began clearing tables. my mother had wanted to ask for porridge but no staff around to ask. We felt this was a let down on the hotel, The gentleman worked very hard to keep everything running and did his best but could have been helped by a few more members of staff.

I was given an accessible room but on checkinv into the room the heater was not working and it was a freezing cold afternoon. I phoned reception and advised my heater was not working in the room to which they advised they would be round in a few minutes to have a look at same. The man on reception looked at the heater on the wall and was unable to repair same and advised they were not sure how the heater worked and would bring me a portable heater. Within about 10 mins another member of staff brought the portable heater, not ideal but better than no heating. I then looked at the sheets on the bed and they were absolutely "filthy" to put it lightly. I have included a photo of said sheets on the bed....quite frankly should have been put in the bin and not near any bed! I reported this to reception who came to examine the said filthy sheets. The mattress was quite stained too. I advised due to the poor room quality...ie broken heater and filthy bed/ sheets I wanted to be moved to another room. I was given a different room but noone even offered to help moving all my bags to the new room. I arrived at the new room I was allocated and checked the sheets and low and behold....more filthy sheets! They looked mouldy ( pics taken) it was all over the sheet on the bed.....i went down to reception this time where ai met the same member of staff i had already complained to. I advised this new room the bed shee filthy too....will not be back at this hotel....avoid!

Room was clean enough but one large bed for 2 10 year olds and 1 adult was off putting. Apparently the sites that allow you to book dont take into account the number of bodies. The staff at the hotel are all lovely, professional and friendly but the food is not good. For the prices i expected more choice, better quality and certainly decent portions. Also, upon leaving my room this morning the smell of weed was so over powering that i mentioned it at reception. Not the hotels fault, a guest must have let them down.
