"What a fabulous hotel, we visited for my husbands 50th Birthday it was a surprise, I had great communication before we went including booking the shuttle and a table for dinner. We were given a complimentary upgrade which totally made the stay and a lovely note and chocolate left from Brooke. We spent the evening in the hotel and had a gorgeous dinner, highly recommend the pork loin! Highly recommend this hotel and would love to come back, great communication, from booking, the lovely bar staff, our server at dinner till we left on the shuttle thanks to everyone for a lovely stay."

"The door men and staff were amazing, made the hotel. Beautiful building. But our bedroom lacked any guest information regarding WiFi and amenities, large bottles of waters with glasses to drink etc.. it was a little sad. Guest bedroom experience needs a little focus"

"The biggest issue was the room temperature. The room became extremely hot throughout the afternoon and evening and was very uncomfortable to stay in. We were unable to properly relax or sleep in the room due to the heat. In order to make the room even somewhat tolerable, we had to keep the windows open all night, which then brought in constant street noise, bright lights from the Grassmarket area, and late-night noise from bars and traffic below."
