Mountain Springs Motel & RV Park

"We used to stay here fairly often years ago on our trips between AB and WA. We changed our route for several years so this was no longer an option. We stayed here twice this summer, and found it even better than before. Rooms are clean, beds are good, staff is friendly and helpful. Nice, like motels used to be. Park at the room door, leave when you want to, and have a nice sleep in between."

"Beautiful place off the beaten path, set on a lake where they have turtles (we didn’t see any). Service was helpful on check in, when heating was not working and again on check out. The cabin was absolutely beautiful…wooden decks, kitchen, bathroom and in bedroom spa bath. A few things to consider: dirt road to get there, coffee available but no milk or creamer, ask for blankets as the heating was not great. We stayed only one night but would recommend staying more than one night given how beautiful it is."

Hotel Civilia Lakeside by Civilia Golf Retreat

"Breakfast is included and upon request the evening before can be delivered to the hotel so you don’t drive 10 minutes to the golf course for it. Highly recommend this over the golf course since the food options are better. The veg sandwich and crispy potatoes were great. The golf course meal was a bit lacking. The room we booked was 205. It came with a set of bunk beds in a room with a queen and a separate bedroom with another queen. Good space for us two. The water was hot and welcome after a long day of hiking and getting filthy. Rooms were quiet and couldn’t hear any neighbors whilst in the room. TV was nice, got to log into my Netflix. Parking can be a little sparse depending what time you’re there. Supposedly there was a coffee maker in room but none to be found. No problem though because there was Nespresso downstairs. No ice in the ice machine though. A few improvements of the rugs and some aesthetic maintenance looks needed but very comfortable stay"

"This place was beautiful in every way. My only thing is…. It’s the Quality Inn. I had a very hard time finding it. But once I did would be happy to stay again. Plan to!! ’"
