"Sehr aufmerksames Personal. Gute und moderne Ausstattung, was von außen auf den ersten Blick von uns nicht vermutet wurde. Ausstattung ist sehr gut, sogar ein Kühlschrank befindet sich auf dem Zimmer. Sowohl das Abendessen als auch das Frühstück waren sehr gut! Insgesamt die beste Unterkunft auf unserer Rundreise!"

"We stayed one Saturday night in early August. A nice welcoming hotel with ample parking. We had a premier room which was very comfortable, quiet, and had pleasant views over the gardens. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and reminded us that everything in the minibar was complimentary! "We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse: quiet bucolic location, handsome and spotless, well-maintained house, We stayed in the Tweed room which was spacious and had everything we needed (including an excellent high pressure shower!). Peter and Sheila were great hosts and cooked breakfast to order each day and made sure we had everything we needed. Would happily return!"

"The staff were brilliant and very helpful with everything we asked for. However, whilst in the bar there was a long wait to be served and guests were having to locate the bar assistant from other parts of the hotel. It may be advantageous to instruct a staff member to be present permamntly, especially when busy. On the Saturday it was busy and the restaurant ran out of eight basic foods items' resulting in two options available. This was at 7.30pm. Please note we did very much enjoy our stay,...

"Self access = soulless. Didn't see another person. Empty tables in the dining room felt like the Marie Celeste. Breakfast in a bakery and fridge in the room. Very expensive for what it was. Very dim lighting."

"We stayed for 3 nights in the Hetton bedroom. Very clean, lovely bathroom and comfy bed. Just the pillows that I didn’t get on with. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice both hot and cold. On two of our three evenings we ate in the inn and the food was great, cannot fault any of it. Lovely, friendly staff. Great position for travelling to all the sights in Northumberland. We will definitely stay again."
