"Great price for the stay. Came in June thought so our room was very hot. The ceiling fan didn’t work so the room was very hot. I brought this up at check out and they just said thanks.
The breakfast was amazing and the team friendly.
The spa looks great in places and tired in others.
Car charger was an absolute bonus before my long trip home!"

"We were in the annex but did not enjoy this area the room is very basic and the heating did not work we have had better appointed rooms in less expensive hotels .the front of the hotel is in good decorative order but if you have a walk round the castle there are areas which are in a poor state of repair,when we walked around the grounds we were disappointed to note a lot of dog poo had just been left lying about this is something the care taker should be aware off .

"Rooms attached to a pub. The pubs very nice with really good food options. The staff were first rate and the room was surprisingly quiet. We stayed for three nights going to the races at Redcar and the sea side."

"We had our Sapphire Anniversary party in The Rockliffe Suite. It was amazing.
The staff were excellent, the room was beautiful and the food was delicious.
We’d definitely have our next party there."
