"We had a great stay at the Black Bear Inn in Orono, Maine. We loved that it's truly pet-friendly, making it easy to travel with our furry companion. The food was delicious, and the complimentary warm soup served every afternoon was a wonderful and thoughtful treat. The staff was friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable. We would gladly stay here again!"

"We stayed 1 night and left very early in the morning ,the room was clean enough,no complain,continental breakfast,parking was easy,convenient,reasonable price."

"We booked 2 rooms. They are spacious. Staff are friendly, the breaskfast had lot of choice. It is an older building and it has it charm. Sadly, one of the room smell bad, and something in the air gave me a mild allergic reaction."

"The room and hotel were clean (with minor exceptions), but very outdated. Being an airport hotel meant a lot of plane noise. We did not get to use the pool or hot tub since we we only stayed one night on our way to Boston, but it was a cheap option for a quick stop and got value for the price."

"Unfortunately the bathroom was absolutely disgusting.There was brown stuff in the tub.There was unused soap hand soap in the shower.A piece of toothpaste box and lots of hair and dust.I was very unhappy with the fact that I had to wash down the bathroom after such a long day.So I could shower have a bath and get ready for my next meet up .."

"Booked this hotel last minute on the way to Canada. Absolutely beautiful!!! Amazing view. Awesome restaurant. Room was on the second floor had a nice lake view. Room was super clean and had a nice shower."

"The sink when opened fully had no more than a trickle of water which rendered it unusable for our purposes. The shower curtain rod was tilted down causing it to fall into middle and unable to close it at both ends to prevent splashing outside. Because of that I would not recommend. It was also close to the airport and in sufficiently insulated to prevent being awakened by planes taking off or landing in the middle of the night."

"Check-in was a nightmare. Somehow the wrong days were booked. Check-in office is unmanned and must be handled by phone. We had to wait in the hot parking lot while the booking problem was addressed and had to call back several times before we were texted the code to open the room. The room itself was small but clean. The reason we chose this property was because it had a walk-in shower which we need as senior citizens. "
