"One of the primary reasons I selected the hotel was the pool amenity; however, upon arrival, I learned the pool was not open. This closure was not disclosed on the website or communicated prior to my stay. Additionally, I was not informed that a prom event would be taking place the evening of my arrival. The event significantly impacted the atmosphere and guest experience, including changes to the restaurant service. Instead of the expected dining experience, the restaurant was relocated to another space that felt more like a pickup area than a proper restaurant setting. Had these conditions been communicated in advance, I would have had the opportunity to make a more informed decision regarding my accommodations."

"This property is amazing. Great location in Downtown Houston. Lobby, hotel restaurant Biggio's and wine bar are great. The best part about this hotel is obviously the rooftop pool. They have plenty of seating. The pool waitstaff are attentive. The offered complimentary cold water bottles one of the days we were there. They have plenty of clean pool towels and the DJ was a plus. Rooms are nice and comfy. We will continue to come back when we can get a good rate."

"Way overpriced for what you get. The only slides that are for older kids were not open but a few hours. Self parking has gone up to $25, which was already overpriced. The nickel and diming never stopped, and the food was awful. The usual story with the pool side chairs——they were “taken” for hours although no one ever used them. Kids were bored within 24 hours so we went elsewhere. Way too expensive for the services offered. You’re better off staying at a resort that is family friendly and doing a waterpark, and it would likely be cheaper."
